Abstract:
The present invention provides An organic molybdenum compound having general formula (1) below General Formula (1) wherein -A is -OR or -NR'; each R is independently an alkyl group; and each R' is independently an alkyl group (or two R' may, together with the N, form an optionally substituted f ive-membered or six-membered ring. Further the present invention provides lubricating compositions comprising a base oil and an organic molybdenum compound according to the present invention.
