Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction stir welding method that is excellent in work efficiency and joint accuracy in jointing two or more points to one another.SOLUTION: The friction stir welding method includes pressing a rotary tool to a work 10 constituted of a first member 11 and a second member 12 while turning the rotary tool to generate frictional heat, and jointing the first member 11 and the second member 12 with the frictional heat. The friction stir welding method uses two or more rotary tools 16A, 16B as the rotary tool to perform concurrent joint with the two or more rotary tools.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
