Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress gas leakage which occurs when contact pressure in a surface direction varies due to the difference in deformation of bolts caused by temperature difference of gas flowing through gas passages in a fuel cell stack.SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack fastened with a plurality of bolts comprises: a plurality of power generation units, each including an electrolyte layer, an air electrode and a fuel electrode, which are aligned in a first direction; and the plurality of bolts extending in the first direction. The plurality of bolts includes: a first bolt forming a gas passage through which gas is introduced from the outside of the fuel cell stack; and a second bolt forming a gas passage through which the gas is discharged to the outside of the fuel cell stack. A linear thermal expansion coefficient αof the first bolt and a linear thermal expansion coefficient αof the second bolt satisfy a relation of α<α.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
