Abstract:
To provide a fuel cell system capable of detecting a check valve failure.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes a plurality of tank units 20a, 20b having fuel tanks 25a, 25b, filling side check valves 23a, 23b, and tank on-off valves 26a, 26b. The fuel cell system includes a supply-side pressure sensor 28p and a control unit capable of executing a failure detection mode. The tank unit includes a detection target unit having a filling-side check valve as a failure detection target, and a non-detection target unit. The control unit includes a valve controller for closing the tank on-off valve of the detection target unit, maintaining an opening state of the tank on-off valve of a non-detection target unit, and opening the tank on-off valve of the detection target unit after fuel is consumed. The control unit includes a determination unit for determining whether or not the filling-side check valve has failed, based on the pressure difference between just before and just after the tank on-off valve of the detection target unit is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
