Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel consumption notification method and device of an internal combustion engine that successively notify a driver who drives a moving body including an internal combustion engine of the fuel consumption rate of the internal combustion engine, allow driving in an optimal fuel consumption state, can increase the movable distance of the moving body, and reduce the variation among drivers.SOLUTION: The notification device calculates the fuel consumption amount on the basis of the information of the fuel injection amount by a fuel injection device 7 included in an internal combustion engine and information of the engine speed of the internal combustion engine, calculates the moving distance of a moving body on the basis of the positional information of a GPS sensor 9 mounted on the moving body, calculates the fuel consumption per unit distance on the basis of the calculated moving distance and fuel consumption amount, and displays the calculation result on a display device 11.
