To achieve an effect of improving low-temperature startability due to heated fuel.
The fuel injection control device (electronic control device 1) for an internal combustion engine enables fuel injection valves 54 (first to fourth fuel injection valves 54a-54d) of the engine to inject fuel F heated after being delivered from a fuel pump (feed pump 52). The fuel injection valves 54a-54d are provided respectively on cylinders of the engine and are connected to a fuel delivery pipe 53. The fuel injection control device has a fuel pump control means for stopping drive of the fuel pump (feed pump 52) until the amount of the heated fuel F in the fuel delivery pipe 53 is less than or equal to a predetermined level.
