Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of cavitation by sufficiently cooling dimethyl ether. SOLUTION: In this fuel injection pump 5 for a dimethyl ether engine for feeding dimethyl ether forcibly fed from a fuel tank 3 to a fuel injection device 7 by enhancing dimethyl ether to pressure suitable for injecting dimethyl ether into an engine, a fluid passage 16 for cooling for flowing fluid for cooling to a cylinder block 15 constituting a pump chamber 14 for compressing dimethyl ether is formed.
