Abstract:
The fuel injection pump has a pump piston (13) working in a cylinder bore (10), which piston is driven by a cam drive (14) in both a reciprocating and a rotating motion. The cam drive (14) comprises a rotating cam plate (17) coupled to a drive shaft (16) and a fixed roller ring (18), on the rollers (20) of which the cam plate is supported. The roller ring (18) is locked by a bolt (30), engaging radially in this, which bolt on the other side is supported in a radial bore (32) in a sliding block (33). The sliding block (33) is displaceable along its longitudinal axis in a longitudinal slot (36) in the inside of the pump housing (11) but arranged tangentially to the roller ring (18) with little play.
