Abstract:
The system has a high pressure fuel pump (7) supplying at least one injector via a common rail (9), a feed pump feeding fuel from tank to high pressure pump, a return line (33) from common rail to tank, a pressure regulating valve (13) between common rail and tank and a leakage line (23) from the high pressure pump. The pressure regulating valve and supply line (5) can be hydraulically connected depending on the supply line fuel temperature.
