Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine which can control a temperature of fuel supplied to a separation filter so as to keep the temperature constant with a high degree of accuracy without using an electric heater.SOLUTION: A fuel supply system of an engine includes: a main tank for storing fuel of the engine; a separation filter for allowing high octane number fuel to permeate from fuel that is supplied from the main tank; a heat exchanger that is provided on a coolant channel in which a coolant of the engine flows, and provides heat exchange between the coolant and fuel supplied to the separation filter; a flow control valve provided on the coolant channel; and an ECU 6 that calculates a required coolant flow rate Q_LLC_want where a fuel temperature in front of the filter becomes a predetermined target temperature on the basis of a temperature TW of the coolant, a tank fuel temperature T_tank_f, a flow rate Q_f of fuel supplied to a fuel heater, and an outside air temperature TA, and calculates a target opening V_want of the flow control valve on the basis of the calculated required coolant flow rate Q_LLC_want.
