Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and effective constitution of a fuel supply system for supplying fuel to an engine for a marine vessel.SOLUTION: A first fuel tank 7 stores first fuel. A second fuel tank 9 stores second fuel whose viscosity at a normal temperature is lower than that of the first fuel. A fuel heater 8 heats the first fuel and supplies the same to a diesel engine 2. A fuel cooler 10 cools the second fuel and supplies the same to the diesel engine 2. The fuel cooler 10 cools the second fuel using a Peltier element. A first fuel return channel 36 returns the first fuel to the first fuel tank 7 from the diesel engine 2 via the fuel cooler 10. Further, the fuel cooler 10 generates power by the Peltier element when the first fuel returned from the diesel engine 2 passes through the same.
