Abstract:
To provide a fundus imaging apparatus which easily images a bright and excellent fundus image.SOLUTION: An imaging optical system of a fundus imaging apparatus includes an optical chopper which forms a local imaging area in the slit shape and scans the imaging area with respect to a fundus Er. The optical chopper can switch the width of the imaging area to any of the first width and the second width wider than the first width. A control unit switches the imaging mode at least between the first imaging mode for acquiring the first fundus image based on the scan of the imaging area of the first width as the photographed image and the second imaging mode for acquiring the second fundus image based on the scan of the imaging area of the second width as the photographed image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
