PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece temperature measuring device capable of measuring a workpiece temperature in real time in a configuration in which workpiece movement is not hindered, and a heat treatment furnace including the same.SOLUTION: A workpiece temperature measuring device for measuring a temperature of a workpiece arranged inside a housing comprises: a first conducting plate of a conductive material fixed to a tray for placing and transporting a workpiece and electrically connected to a first thermocouple for measuring the workpiece temperature; a first conducting rod attached to an elevator for placing and elevating the tray and including a contact end part of a conductive material for contact with the first conducting plate; and a first temperature measuring device provided outside the housing and electrically connected to the contact end part of the first conducting rod. The first conducting plate has a vertical length for maintaining a contact with the contact end part of the first conducting rod in an elevated position in which the tray is elevated from the elevator by an elevating mechanism different from the elevator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
