Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piece of furniture for taking articles in and out which is of a good quality and can be operated easily when opening and closing a door with a rotating operation of a cover member such as a top board, or with a vertical movement of the cover member. SOLUTION: This furniture comprises a rotation guide body 14 rotatable around an axis mounted on a frame body 10D and having guides 14GU, 14GS, 14GU', 14GS' a cover member 16 having sliding surfaces 16G, 16G' to be guided by these guides and slide, engaging and rotating with the rotation guide body 14, and being movable relatively to the rotation guide body 14 in the guiding direction of the guides 14GU, 14GS, 14GU', 14GS', inclined surfaces 24K, 24K' mounted on the rotation guide body 14 and inclined in the guiding direction the guides 14GU, 14GS, 14GU', 14GS', and a ball body 22 lying between these inclined surfaces and the sliding surfaces 16G, 16G'.
