PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform authentication using a mobile communication terminal without consciousness of a function difference of the mobile communication terminal owned by a game player.SOLUTION: An authentication system S authenticates a game player by using a mobile communication terminal 50 owned by the game player. A game medium dispenser 10 includes: a short range radio communication unit 35 for performing short-range wireless communication between the mobile communication terminal 50 and itself, and receiving authentication information of the game player; a camera 36 for photographing the vicinity of the game medium dispenser 10, and acquiring image data of the authentication information of the game player displayed in the mobile communication terminal 50; and a server communication unit 39 for transmitting the image data of the authentication information received from the mobile communication terminal 50 or the authentication information photographed by the camera 36 to an authentication processing unit 46 through the short range radio communication unit 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
