Abstract:
To optimally display a display including specific characters, in relation to a background image.SOLUTION: A display area of display means includes a first display area, and a second display area being an area in a periphery of the first display area, being narrower than the first display area. In the second display area, a game machine can display an assigned amount display relating to an amount of assigned game values assigned to a player, on a front side of a background image, and, at least in the first display area, can display a notification display of notifying of a fact that the amount of assigned game values reaches a prescribed amount, on a front side of the background image. The characters for use in the notification display have size larger than that of the characters for use in the assigned amount display, and the characters for use in the assigned amount display and the notification display include a specific character including a specific area enclosed by lines forming the character, formed thereon. The specific character for use in the assigned amount display is so formed that the background image is invisible from the specific area, while the specific character for use in the notification display is so formed that the background image is visible from the specific area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11-4
