To provide a gas barrier molded body with a high releasing strength between a substrate and a gas barrier layer and excellent in gas barrier properties, a method for manufacturing a gas barrier molded body which can be performed by a convenient process without performing retort processing, and a coating liquid used for the manufacturing method.

The gas barrier molded body has the substrate (X) and the gas barrier layer (Y) formed on the substrate (X). The gas barrier layer (Y) is a layer formed of a polycarboxylic acid polymer (A) partially neutralized with a polyvalent metal ion (C) and a crosslinking agent (B) with a group reactive with a carboxyl group, and the peel strength between the substrate (X) and the gas barrier layer (Y) is ≥2 [N/cm], and the oxygen permeability of the molded body measured under a condition of the temperature of 30°C and the relative humidity of 80% is ≤50×10-4cm3(STP)/(m2s MPa) in the gas barrier molded body.
