Abstract:
To provide a gas insulation device that can hold a sufficient dielectric strength even when the surrounding temperature becomes equal to or lower than a prescribed temperature, and that is less in power consumption than the conventional ones.SOLUTION: A gas insulation device includes a metal container filled with insulation gas, a thermometer that measures the value of the temperature of the insulation gas filling the metal container, a manometer that measures the value of the pressure of the insulation gas filling the metal container, a pressure controller that is connected to the metal container via a pipe, and that controls the value of the pressure of the insulation gas filling the metal container, a calculation unit that calculates a pressure value that does not cause liquefaction, on the basis of the value of the temperature of the insulation gas measured by the thermometer, the value of the pressure of the insulation gas measured by the manometer, and a preset condensation curve of the insulation gas while the insulation gas keeps a prescribed gas density, and an operation control unit that controls the operation of the pressure controller on the basis of the pressure value calculated by the calculation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
