PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter system and a method for estimating a heating value that can accurately derive the heating value of a gas.SOLUTION: The gas meter system derives the unit heating value of a gas passing through a first gas meter 110, and estimates a heating value of a gas passing through a second gas meter 111 separate from the first gas meter 110, based on the heating value of the gas of the first gas meter 110 on a specific range of a gas supply tube 130 for supplying a gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
