Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a gasket for glass lining equipment with a relatively large aperture, which can maintain sealability even in a condition of low fastening surface pressure in determined glass lining and in long-term stress reduction.SOLUTION: A gasket for glass lining comprises a toric or elliptical outer peripheral part and a toric or elliptical inner peripheral part continuously provided to a side edge inside the outer peripheral part, and on the outer peripheral part, a center core member and a coating member surrounding the center core member are provided. The center core member comprises a corrugated steel pipe and expanded graphite surrounding the corrugated steel pipe. The coating member comprises a porous PTFE membrane and a seamless PTFE coating surrounding the PTFE membrane. On the outer peripheral part, provided are one or more holes whose inner diameter is within a range of 1-2 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
