Abstract:
To improve seal performance.SOLUTION: A gasket 1 includes: a proximal part 10 that is a part including a pair of lateral faces 11, 12 facing each other back-to-back and coming into contact with lateral faces facing each other of a groove to which the gasket 1 is fitted; and a seal lip part 20 that is a part extending from the proximal part 10 and formed so as to come into contact with a surface facing the groove between members. The seal lip part 20 is tapered. The seal lip part 20 is compressed while the gasket 1 is in use and formed so that a distance to one of the pair of lateral faces of the groove to which the gasket 1 is fitted is smaller than a distance to the other of the pair of lateral faces of the groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
