Abstract:
To provide a simple, quick, and accurate gate device that restricts a person with a specific disease or infected with a specific virus from entering a specific area.SOLUTION: A gate device includes: a first gate 38 that regulates entry of a subject from an inspection area into a first area; an inspection device that has an odor sensor, detects with the odor sensor an odor of a specific metabolite of the subject located in the inspection area or a specific object worn by the subject, and outputs odor data representing an odor of the specific metabolite or the specific object; and a control unit that obtains a determination result representing whether or not the odor of the specific metabolite or the specific object is a specific odor based on the odor data, and controls the first gate 38 to allow the subject to enter the first area when the odor of the specific metabolite or the specific object is not the specific odor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
