Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably attach a gasket to a gasket groove, reduce labor hours of work of attaching the gasket to the gasket groove, and enable a worker to distinguish gaskets made of different materials.SOLUTION: A gear pump or motor includes: gears which make a pair and are configured to engage with each other; shafts pivotally supporting the gears; a body having a gear storage chamber for storing the gears therein; and a cover which covers the gear storage chamber of the body. A gasket is disposed between the body and the cover. The gasket may be inserted into a gasket groove provided in at least one of the body and the cover and having a shape enclosing the gear storage chamber, and adheres to the gasket groove with an elastic restoring force while being inserted in the gasket groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
