Abstract:
A boarding device of a vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a platform (20); and a photoelectric sensor (55) which is configured such that, when the platform (20) is housed in a depression part (17), it is possible to detect an obstacle in the depression part (17). The photoelectric sensor (55) has a configuration of being installed upon the body side of the vehicle, illuminating with light so as to traverse the depression part (17), and detecting the obstacle by whether the light thereof passes. A second reflecting plate (52) is attached to the platform (20) which, even if the light of the photoelectric sensor (55) is blocked when the platform (20) is housed in the depression part (17), causes the photoelectric sensor (55) to operate as if the light passes.
