Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate including a glass surface having unevenness suitable for improving both light scattering function and reflection control function.SOLUTION: The glass plate 1 includes a glass surface 11 to be a light incidence surface. The glass surface 11 includes minute salient 31 whose diameter is 20 to 250 nm and unevenness 20 represented by an arithmetic mean roughness Ra of 0.08 to 0.8 micron, a maximum height Ry of 0.3 to 7.0 microns, and an average spacing Sm of 0.3 to 10.0 microns. The unevenness 20 and 30 of the glass plate can be formed by etching processing using an etching solution containing hydrofluoric acid and fluoride salts such as potassium fluoride.
