Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove box device for a vehicle which can achieve at least one of the improvement of accommodation performance, the suppression of the abutment of a door on an occupant, and the weight reduction of the door compared with those in a conventional device.SOLUTION: A glove box device for a vehicle has: a panel lower 20 which is fixed to an instrument panel of the vehicle, and has an accommodation part 21 having two layers of an upper accommodation part 23 and a lower accommodation part 24; a box 30 which is supported to the panel lower 20 so as to be turntable between an accommodation position which is accommodated in the lower accommodation part 24 and a protruded position 30b which is protruded into a cabin; and a door 40 which is slidably supported to the box 30 between an upper position and a lower position 40b in a vertical direction, blocks both the upper and lower accommodation parts 23, 24 of the panel lower 20 when the box 30 exists in the accommodation position and in the upper position, and releases only the upper accommodation part 23 of the panel lower 20 when the box exists in the lower position 40b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
