Abstract:
To provide a grain dryer enabling an operator to visually recognize the amount of grain in a grain storage tank accurately.SOLUTION: The grain dryer comprises a grain storage tank comprising a side face formed of a plurality of tank side plates piled up one after another. The grain storage tank comprises a plurality of vertical members each having height extending across the entire height of the tank and each constituting one side face. The vertical members are each provided with a transparent window through which an operator can visually recognize the amount of grain in the grain storage tank. It is preferable that a plurality of transparent windows are provided on the vertical member almost over the entire height thereof. The grain storage tank comprises a plurality of vertical members, and the transparent window is preferably provided at least on one of the vertical members. The grain storage tank has a nearly rectangular cross section and has four vertical members each disposed on its four corners respectively. The transparent windows can be provided on the vertical members disposed at least on two corners of the grain tank, positioned on the diagonal line. The transparent windows can be provided on all of the vertical members positioned on the four corners of the grain tank respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
