PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to display an image that accurately simulates an image created by a night vision device or a heat ray video device.SOLUTION: A video display device outputs an image (emulation image 203) formed of infrared light after passage of a certain time in order to simulate a delay of a night vision device or a heat ray video device. The video display device limits a band and the intensity of light before outputting the image (emulation image 203) formed of infrared light in order to simulate the resolution and the intensity of light in a field of view and the periphery of the night vision device or the heat ray video device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
