Abstract:
To provide a grapple driving device which eliminates manual loading at a logging site and which can be reduced in size and weight.SOLUTION: A grapple device 3 of a wiring timber collection system 100 comprises: pulleys Lb, Lb for movement along a lifting line LFL; a pair of grapple arms 3c, 3c for grabbing timber; a hydraulic cylinder 3p which opens/closes the pair of grapple arms 3c, 3c; an alternator 3h which generates power through rotation of the pulleys Lb, Lb; a battery 3j which charges the power generated by the alternator 3h; and a power unit 3k which has a hydraulic pump 3m and a valve 3n operated by the power of the battery 3j. The power unit 3k is driven by the power of the battery 3j to operate the hydraulic cylinder 3p by hydraulic pressure, and the pair of grapple arms 3c, 3c are driven.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
