Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding wheel in which abrasions of segment grindstones constituting grindstones can be easily confirmed even in the middle of processing, and grinding grindstones.SOLUTION: The grinding wheel is detachably attached to a mount formed at a tip part of a rotation shaft. The grinding wheel comprises a wheel base comprising a mount attaching part to be attached to the mount and a grindstone attaching part at the opposite side of the mount attaching part, and a plurality of grinding grindstones to be detachably attached to the grindstone attaching part. The grindstones are constituted of segment grindstones having abrasive grains combined through a bond material and steel bases which support the segment grindstones and are attached to the grindstone attaching part of the wheel base. In the grinding wheel, outer shapes of supported surfaces opposing to the steel bases of the segment grindstones are different from the outer shapes of supporting surfaces of the steel bases, so that level difference parts are formed therein. The grinding grindstones constitute the grinding wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
