Abstract:
To provide a hair iron that allows a function to prevent an erroneous operation to be added easily.SOLUTION: A hair iron includes an iron part 1 for imparting heat to hair, a grip part 2 for supporting the iron part 1, and a cap 3 that can be attached to the grip part 2 so as to cover the iron part 1. The grip part 2 incorporates a rechargeable battery and an electronic circuit for controlling power supply to the iron part 1 by the power from the battery. The electronic circuit detects whether or not the cap 3 is attached to the grip part 2. If the cap 3 is attached, the electronic circuit prohibits the power supply to the iron part 1, and if the cap 3 is not attached, it permits power supply to the iron part 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
