Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sheet or web material containing a paper base body covered with a hydrophobic resin layer or a hydrophobic resin supporting body such as polyethylene terephthalate resin supporting body which carries a transparent antistatic layer containing a conductive polymer having conductivity for electrons.
CONSTITUTION: This sheet or web material contains a paper base body coated with at least one hydrophobic resin layer or a hydrophobic resin supporting body. The resin supporting body or the resin layer is coated with a transparent antistatic layer containing polythiophene as an essential component. The polythiophene has a conjugate polymer main chain in the presence of a polyanion compd. The antistatic layer is coated with a overcoat adhesive layer formed by applying a water-based polymer dispersion liquid. The dispersed polymer gives enough hydrophilic functions to the overcoat layer so that the overcoat layer has adhesion property with a hydrophilic colloid-contg. layer formed thereon.
