Abstract:
To provide an air cylinder type impact tool which can prevent a hammer body from suddenly dropping after use, and a hammer striking device.SOLUTION: The present invention has such configuration that in the state that compressed air is flown in by operation of an operation handle 13, a pressure valve mechanism 14 is caused to flow the compressed air into an upper inner air area 21a and a lower inner air area 21b of a cylinder 11 alternately to repeatedly move a hammer body 12 in a vertical direction, a coil spring 61 is located in the lower inner air area 21b, and a fine hole part 65, which communicates the lower inner air area 21b with the exterior, is provided in the cylinder 11. According to such configuration, after inflow of compressed air is stopped, air in the lower inner air area 21b gradually flows out of the fine hole part 65 thereby gradually dropping the hammer body 12, and therefore, sudden dropping of the hammer body 12 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
