Abstract:
To provide a handrail device which facilitates easy mounting and removing operations of a handrail.SOLUTION: The handrail device includes at least two vertical supports 1, 1 arranged adjacent to each other, a handrail mounting member 2 provided on the respective vertical support 1, 1 to hold handrails 3a, 3b, and a handrail connecting member 4 held respectively by the adjacent handrail mounting members 2 to connect the handrails 3a, 3b to each other. The handrail connecting member 4 includes a cylindrical body 5, a pair of openings 5C, 5C formed in the cylindrical body 5, and a pair of handrail positioning members 6, 6 provided opposite to each of the openings 5C, 5C. Each handrail positioning member 6 has a stop pin 7 and a spring 8 for urging the stop pin 7 in a direction of the opening 5C. The handrails 3a, 3b have holes 3c facing the openings 5C when inserted into the cylindrical body 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
