Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arouse an attention to a passenger when rolling-in and inconvenience are caused in a passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor for transporting a passenger to an alighting place from a boarding place, comprises a driving device for transporting a passenger, a detector for detecting inconvenience of the passenger conveyor, a handrail driving device for driving a handrail being a part for gripping and moving by the passenger and a control device for controlling the driving device and the handrail driving device so as to superpose a vibrational speed component on a feed speed of the handrail being the part for gripping and moving by the passenger when detecting the inconvenience of the passenger conveyor as a detection result of the detector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
