Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for a passenger conveyor and a measurement jig capable of measuring at once electric resistance of a plurality of tension members built in the handrail for the passenger conveyor in the present invention.SOLUTION: A handrail for a passenger conveyor on the present invention comprises a body part 10 formed in an endless shape and a tension member 11 having electric conductivity, built in along the longitudinal direction of the body part 10, opposed without contacting one end part and the other end part in the longitudinal direction of the body part 10 and juxtaposed without contacting along the short direction of the body part 10, and an inside surface 10b of the body part 10 is formed with an opening part for exposing the one end part and the other end part of the whole tension members 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
