Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tear in a part near convex shaped tip end part and/or shoulder part in closing material.SOLUTION: The present invention is a head part forming method for closed tube comprising a step in which a long original material for closing material is successively fed, and a step in which an original material for closing material fed in vertical direction is punched with a punch die moving in horizontal direction so as to be subjected to deep drawing machining in a receiving die and a closing material comprising a projecting part at its center is formed by punching. A clearance upon contact between a surface of the punch die and a receiving die at a shoulder part of the closing material formed in the step is adjusted to be larger than a clearance upon contact between the surface of the punch die and the receiving die at a peripheral flange part of the closing material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
