PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correspond to specification changes of an expansion molding, and reduce the manufacturing cost of dies for expansion molding by a method wherein under a state wherein some of a large number of columnar bodies for vapor hole is recessed from the internal surface of the forming die, and some of them are protruding from the internal surface of the forming die, they are fitted on the die for expansion molding.
SOLUTION: Columnar bodies 10 for vapor hole are fitted in an attaching hole 24 which is formed on dies 20, 21 for expansion molding, by drive-in-fitting. In this case some of the columnar bodies 10 for vapor hole are fitted under a state wherein the tip end surfaces are recessed from the molding surface, and some of the columnar bodies 10 for vapor hole are fitted under a state wherein the tip end surfaces are protruding from the molding surface. Therefore, when the locations and the number of the protruding parts or the recessed parts which are required for molded article need to be changed, the fitting state of the columnar bodies 10 for vapor hole corresponding with places which need to be changed is adjusted, and the protruding amount or the recessed amount can be changed, and changing the main body parts of the dies for expansion molding is not required. By this method, the moldings of different kinds of expansion molded articles become possible at a low cost.
