Abstract:
The motor vehicle headlamp has a reflector (20) inside which is mounted a discharge lamp (10), a screen (30) placed immediately in front of the lamp, and a shielding coating (40) made of a conductive material covering the back of the reflector. The shielding is connected to a fixed potential. The lamp screen (30) is made of a conductive material and is also connected to a fixed potential to divert stray electromagnetic fields emitted toward the front of the lamp.
