Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: compositions (particularly heat transfer compositions) that have low ozone depletion and global warming potentials, are highly advantageous in heating and cooling systems and nonflammable; and methods (particularly vapor compression) for heating and cooling systems (particularly low temperature refrigerant systems) used with HFC-404A.SOLUTION: A composition comprises: about 10 to about 35 wt.% of HFC-32; about 10 to about 35 wt.% of HFC-125; about 20 wt.% to about 50 wt.% of HFO-1234ze, HFO-1234yf and combinations of these; and about 15% to about 35 wt.% of HFC-134a.
