Abstract:
To provide a thermal transfer sheet capable of accurately transferring a transfer layer on a transferee in a region to be transferred.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet 20E has a base material 5, and a heat seal layer 14D having a thermal expansion region including a hollow particle having a thermal expansion on one surface thereof. The thermal expansion region expands by heating at a predetermined temperature, and the heat seal layer 14D has a laminate structure including a first heat seal layer 11, a second heat seal layer 12 and a third heat seal layer 13. The second heat seal layer 12 is arranged nearer to the base material 5 than the first heat seal layer 11, and the third heat seal layer 13 is arranged farther from the base material 5 than the first heat seal layer 11. The thermal expansion region is contained in the first heat seal layer 11, the first heat seal layer 11 has a larger degree of expansion by heating at the predetermined temperature than the second heat seal layer 12 and the third heat seal layer 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
