PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment method of a tabular article, a tabular article bending method and a tabular article, which can regulate the shape of the end part of a bending part in a tabular article after a bending treatment.SOLUTION: A tabular article heat-treatment method for heating at least a portion 2 containing the end part 2b of a tabular article 1, from the two sides of a plate thickness direction Y, is characterized in that the thermal dose of said end part 2b is adjusted by arranging heat insulating plates 20, 30 at the end parts 2b of the tabular article 1. Moreover, the tabular article 1 is made to contact and heated with combustion flames 11a and 12a from the two sides of the plate thickness direction Y. The heat insulating plates 20, 30 are equipped with main flat plate portions 20, 31. The heat-treatment method is characterized in that end faces 20a, 31a of the main planar parts 20, 31 and an end face 2c of the tabular article 1 are arranged to oppose each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
