To enhance cooling effect in a head protector having insulation function.

In a baseball helmet 1, a heat insulation sheet 31 comprising a nonwoven fabric as a base, and in which a large number of hollow microballoons are adhered in a fringe-shape to a fiber comprising the nonwoven fabric, is placed to a liner 3 inside a shell 2 put on the head of a wearer. The insulation sheet 31 is installed to an outside convex-like curved surface of the liner 3. The microballoons are foamed bodies of a thermoplastic resin and independent air bubbles having 45-135 μm average diameter. The heat insulation sheet 31 has ≥2 mm thickness and is placed in the parietal region of the liner 3 except the frontal region, the occipital region and the temporal region.
