Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure pump capable of improving the rotary action of a rotary valve.SOLUTION: A rotary valve 34 is provided on the inside of a storage hole 33 of a pump body 10. A communication path 40 provided on the rotary valve 34 communicates an upstream side fuel passage 31 and a downstream side fuel passage 32, when the rotary valve 34 is positioned at a predetermined rotation angle. A motor 35 rotation-drives the rotary valve 34 about an axis in a normal rotating direction and a reverse rotating direction, so as to make a groove channel 42 provided on an outer wall in a diametrical direction of the rotary valve 34 of channels configuring the communication path 40 face the whole circumference of the inner wall of the storage hole 33. Therefore, fuel is supplied from the groove channel 42 provided on the rotary valve 34 to the whole circumference of the inner wall of the storage hole 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
