Title:
MANUFACTURE OF STRIPE LAMINATE STEEL SHEET FOR WELDED CAN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3032930
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacture of a stripe laminate steel sheet for a welded can wherein a laminate-not requiring part can be formed without scraping off a resin layer.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin layer is formed by laminating a polyethylene resin layer, a polypropylene resin layer, or a polyethylene terephthalate resin layer by a T-die extrusion method on total width of at least one side surface of a preheated surface treated steel sheet. The resin layer is removed by abrasion by irradiating a laminate-not wanted part with an ultraviolet laser beam of 193nm wavelength for the polyethylene resin layer and the polypropylene resin layer, and with that of 248nm wavelength far the polyethylene terephthalate resin layer.
