Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a processing tool which can increase a contact surface of the processing tool while absorbing a position error relative to a workpiece which occurs in a process of machine work and efficiently perform the machine work without causing an overload to the processing tool, and to provide a processing method.SOLUTION: A holder 1 for a processing tool includes: a cylindrical body 10; a shaft body 20 which is housed in the cylindrical body 10 having an annular gap g1 and has a tip part 21 protruding further than a tip of the cylindrical body 10; a coil spring 32 which biases the shaft body 20 in a tip direction; a position restriction part 36 which restricts a position of the shaft body 20 so that the shaft body 20 can move between a tip direction stop position and a rear end direction stop position; an engagement part 37 which is provided over the cylindrical body 10 and the shaft body 20 in a manner such that the cylindrical body 10 and the shaft body 20 cannot be rotated relative to each other; an annular elastic body 31 which is disposed between the cylindrical body 10 and the shaft body 20 so as to coaxially hold the cylindrical body 10 and the shaft body 20 when the cylindrical body 10 and the shaft body 20 are not rotated; and a chuck part 50 which is provided at the tip part 21 of the shaft body 20 and chucks a shaft part of the processing tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
