PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide zeolite excellent in purification performance for NOx, and, particularly excellent in purification performance for NOx in a high temperature region in an exhaust gas.SOLUTION: Provided is zeolite having a CHA structure, in which, provided that the total of the integrated intensities in the (211) face, the (104) face and the (220) face in the X-ray diffraction spectrum according to the powder X-ray diffraction method is provided as X, and the total of the integrated intensities after a heat durable test at 900°C for 5 hr in an air atmosphere is defined as X, the X(X/X) to the Xis 0.2 to 0.7, also, provided that the peak intensity at the 4 orientation of the Al atom measured by theAl-NMR method after a heat durable test at 900°C for 5 hr in an air atmosphere is defined as Pand the peak intensity at the 6 orientation of the Al atom is defined as P, P(P/P) to the Pis 0.1 or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: None
