Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure, reduce size and weight, simplify set and containing, reduce a containing space, and provide a wide living space in a cabin.
SOLUTION: A folding bed used in an automobile comprises a number of combinations of a pair of guide rails stretched to the both sides in the longitudinal direction on the roof side inside a car body, a number of cross bars 12 slidably and rotatably supported between a pair of the guide rails, front links 14 coupled together between adjoining the cross bars 12 at a number of the cross bars 12, and rear links 15. The folding bed contains a folding link 13 to intercouple a number of the cross bars 12, and a number of division bed panels 16 securely mounted corresponding to a number of the cross bars 12 in such a manner to be supported on the rear links 15 and the front links 14 in a stretched condition of the folding link 13.
