Abstract:
To make a control period of an inverter shorter than a normal control period when a first motor falls into an overspeed condition, and keep residual switching elements of the inverter controllable.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes a planetary gear, an engine, a first motor, an inverter, a first calculator, a local memory and a common memory. The engine and the first motor are connected to each other through the planetary gear. The inverter driving the first motor converts direct-current power into drive power of the first motor using a plurality of switching elements. The first calculator (1) controls an inverter based on data read out from the common memory while the rotation speed of the first motor is lower than a predetermined threshold rotation speed. The first calculator (2) copies the data to the local memory from the common memory when the rotation speed of the first motor exceeds the threshold rotation speed, and then controls the inverter based on the data read out from the local memory.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
