Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen treatment method with high efficiency which can progress the reaction of hydrogenation purification efficiently by making three-dimensional active metals to be supported and widening the field of contact (the field of reaction) instead of the conventional hydrogenation treatment catalyst having active metals planarly supported.SOLUTION: In the hydrogen treatment method using the hydrogenation treatment catalyst for hydrocarbon oil, the catalyst uses a carrier obtained by mixing 5-80 mass% of powder comprising a material such as fumed silica, white carbon, α-alumina, clay mineral and the like which has low affinity to hydrogenation active metals such as molybdenum, nickel, cobalt and the like selected from group VIB metals, group VIII metals in the periodic table, and a material such as alumina except α-alumina, silica-alumina, silica-titania, silica-zirconia and the like which has high affinity to the hydrogenation active metals with the carrier using alumina as a principal component, and. further impregnating the active metal to the carrier. Thus, the active metals become dense by accumulating the active metals as many as possible in the vicinity of the material that has affinity to the active metals and the active metals become sparse in the vicinity of the material that has low affinity to the active metals, thereby making them three-dimensional in the carrier.
